Hilary started at MRVH as a volunteer in August 2000 and in 2002 she moved to Kamloops to enroll in the Animal Health Technology program at what is now Thompson Rivers University. In 2004, with her new credentials, she began a lengthy career with the MRVH team. In 2014 Hilary left to work at BC Cancer Research, working in the Animal Resource Centre where her role in husbandry revolved largely around advocating for the mice involved in cancer studies. While there she earned her RLAT (Registered Lab Animal Technician) designation. In February 2017 Hilary rejoined her MRVH family to once again fill a role as RVT (Registered Veterinary Technologist). She is excited to have her hands once again on dogs and cats and everyone at MRVH is thrilled to have her attention to detail and nurturing personality back at the practice.
